Brief Personality: He cares about people, he carries a lot of guilt, and isn't quite sure what to feel about Rose's actions - and her death. He's wary of the Master, dissapointed in Jack, and generally hurting - he still has raw scars from the Time War, he's lost Rose, and he's been without a companion for the last several months. He can be snappish, sarcastic, and biting; he's mercurial at times. He can brood very well, but he also is capable of being cheerful. | |
| Brief History: (following canon-ish)
Born on Gallifrey, part of Lungbarrow House, friends with Koschei while at the Acadamy, stole a TARDIS and left with his granddaughter Susan at some point. Spends time on Earth, travels with various companions. Fights in the Time War, ends the Time War, lives, regenerates. Meets Rose, fights the Autons/Nestene Consciousness, invites Rose to travel with him, goes to the end of the world, saves most of the spectators, goes to Cardiff more than once, is slapped by Jackie (more than once), picks up Adam after running into a Dalek in 2012, drops Adam back off after a fiasco on Sattelite 5, ends up in 1941 in London, saves the world from becoming gas-masked zombies, takes Jack with him and Rose, back to Cardiff, opens the Rift, goes to the Game Station, finds more Daleks, builds a Delta Wave Generator, sends Rose home, Jack dies, Rose comes back. (verging from canon here) Rose brings Jack back, and when the Doctor tries to get near her to take the Vortex from her, she won't let him. She says she can't let him sacrifice his life for hers - he's more important to the universe than she is. He's grieving and feeling extrememly guilty when he leaves the station, leaving Jack behind as he takes Rose's body back to London, to her mother. He flees before Jackie can really register Rose is dead, and without telling her what happened, and travels on his own for a little while. He finds a ship drifting in space, with a window in time. He meets Reinette, helps her, invites her to travel with him. He takes her back after several months, and is once more on his own, until he meets with an alien woman, Marka nen Saro, who he invites to travel with him. She's with him when they land in Scotland instead of where he intended. They save Queen Victoria from a werewolf, although not everyone is sure that Marka isn't a monster herself, considering she looks like a hyena walking upright. They leave again, more travels and adventures, picking up a young human named Denni, who he later drops back off, as Denni can't cope with the whole mess. He'd dropped Marka at her home planet for a visit with her family, and decided to take a look at Earth in the mean while (as he's not welcome at her family home). He finds an organization called Torchwood has become a power in Britain in the eighteen months since he left, and the name of the Director scares him. The Master. He's taken into custody by Torchwood, and the Master takes great delight in pointing out that he has Jack, and Jack's forgotten all about the Doctor. The Doctor is skeptical, and the Master has Mickey take him to Cardiff, where Jack runs the branch of Torchwood that keeps an eye on the Rift. The Doctor and Jack argue and the Doctor walks out, intending on going to get Mickey, and insist on going back to London and his TARDIS, only to find himself... well, it's not the Hub, or Cardiff, at any rate. Update: He goes back, goes back to London, spends some time with the Master, gets back on his TARDIS, picks up his companion. Gallivants about, steps out of the TARDIS one morning, and he's back here. Without his TARDIS. Again. Note by offsite admin: Has been in Whoville previous.
