| Brief History: She stopped counting years over a century ago, and only vaguely counts decades.
Born on Gallifrey, she went to the Acadamy and met the girl who would eventually become the Master, became friends. Also knew the boy who would become the Rani, but they weren't particularly close. Decided to try the whole "have a family" thing, had a son, her son fathered a son, and by this time the Doctor was getting bored and restless and irritated. She scarpered with a TARDIS and her grandson, and headed for Earth. Gallivanted around the universe picking up companions here and there for a while. Traveled with a fellow Time Lord once, abandoned him in E-space before she decided to toss him out of her TARDIS into the Vortex, because that's not who she is. She wasn't impressed to find he was Lord President of Gallifrey when she was called back because of the Time War. They argued, he cheated, she reluctantly agreed to his plan, though she told him more than once he was a moron, and there had to be some other way of ending this. She even suggested alternate plans, but in the end, carried out the one the Lord President wanted, because there wasn't time to implement any of the others. She survived, much to her regret, and regenerated into her ninth body. She met Roland in London, and took him with her on her journeys - after going back to ask him a second time. Went to the end of Earth, met Caroline Dickens and sealed a Rift, fought Slitheen, ran into a Dalek - and picked up a less-than-useful Addison, found something hinky on a 2001st century broadcasting sattelite, met Jack Harkness (female) in London in 1941 and took her with, fought the Slitheen again, and ended up on Sattelite Five in a confrontation with the Daleks. Her ninth body didn't survive that, though the Doctor herself did, as did her companions. She's on her tenth body, and is rather fond of slinky tops, slacks, suit jackets and hiking boots at the moment. She's traveled more since Sattelite Five, another year with Roland which ended when Roland was trapped in an alternate universe, then a year with Mark. Most recently, she's ended up at the end of the universe and ran into an old friend and advesary, the Master. She had just helped get a rocket full of humans off on their way to their last hope of survival, and was chasing after the Master - who let her into the TARDIS, only to slam the door before Mark and Jack (who is the whole reason they're at the end of the universe, as the TARDIS needed bearings after Jack holding onto the outside) could join them. When they dematerialized, they materialized here, instead of in the Vortex. |
