Brief Personality: A suave man of action. He practices Venusian Aikido, enjoys working on gadgets and riding all manner of vehicles. He is at once out of most authoritative of the Doctor's incarnations, and able to function somewhat with the hierarchy of UNIT, but still questions authority other than himself. | |
| Brief History: After the Doctor was found guilty of breaking the Time Lord laws of non-interference and forced to regenerate, he began his third incarnation in exile on 20th century Earth. The Doctor immediately formed a working relationship with the British contingent of UNIT, an international organisation tasked to investigate and defend the Earth against extraterrestrial threats.
The Doctor developed a good working relationship with Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, whom he had first encountered, in his previous incarnation, as a Colonel in command of troops fighting Yeti and the Cybermen. As well as the Brigadier, he developed friendships with other UNIT colleagues including Sergeant Benton and Captain Mike Yates. Doctor has also been recently plagued by the Master's schemes, including the summoning of an ancient Džmon, and unleashing the terrifyingly powerful Kronos, a Chronovore. The Doctor's exile continued until it was lifted by the Time Lords after he helped save them from destruction at the hands of Omega. Which *just* happened. The Doctor was in the middle of repairing his TARDIS for his voluntary trip off world in years. |
