| Brief History: Lucy is the youngest child of Lord Cole of Tarminster. Harold Saxon was a back-bencher (MP for Flydale North) with not an awful lot of ambition. Lucy's parents got her introduced to Harry at a society do, singling him out as a good catch, someone she could shape and push higher.
Lucy is the one with the ambition, the power behind the throne. Harry is now the Minister of Defence, but Lucy's working on getting him even higher. There's an election coming up, after all. It never occurred to her to run for office herself. That's not the way things work in her family. She was brought up on the idea that the women run things behind the scenes. She and Harry have never been in love, but they work well together as a couple. They got married last year. Lucy's aware of Torchwood and the Doctor, because Harry shares pretty much everything with her and what he doesn't share she finds out by other, more devious, means, but she's never met the Doctor or any of the Torchwood staff. |
