| Brief History: William Shakespeare was a playwright and actor in Elizabethan England. He met Martha and the Doctor when they got involved in a plot to free a race of "witches" called Carrionites from their prison, through the Globe theatre and the power of Shakespeare's words. He proved himself a genius, not only by seeing past the Doctor's psychic paper, but by improvising a spell to banish the "witches" and trap them in a globe of their own. He was quite taken with Martha. He might have been taken with the Doctor, too. | ||
