| Brief History: Jack was born on the Boeshan Pennisula- he was the first from his town to make it into the Time Agency; the prettiest, the funniest, the nicest boy in town.
The time agency changed him, but that wasn't surprising. It made him smoother, polished his edges. But it also made him harder and less trusting. On his fifth mission and fifth year after graduation he was paired for a mission with John Harper, a fellow time agent he knew only vaguely. They were caught in a village stuck in a time loop. The village was pre-space travel so John and Jack are doubly stuck. The villagers don't remember past the looped two weeks- only John and Jack do- so they're well, stuck in their covers as bartender and blacksmith so they turned to each other more and more. John's the wife. |
