Brief Personality: Jack's a bit responsible. He's still funny, flirty, clever, and inclined to rush into things. He's moral, loyal, and he tries more than anything else. | |
| Brief History: Jack was born on the Boeshane Peninsula in the fifty-first century. He was raised an only child; his only sibling died as an infant. He was the first from the Peninsula to be recruited to the Time Agency, their Golden Boy.
The Time Agency changed him though- the things he saw, the things he did. He believes the Time Agency stole 2 years of his memories. He left the agency and became a con man; that's how he met the Doctor and Rose, in 1941 London. They rescued him and he traveled with them for a while. In the 2001st century he died, on Satellite Five, fighting the Daleks with the Doctor. That should have been- could have been- the end of Jack. It wasn't. Rose was filled with the power of the Time Vortex and brought him back. All the way back, forever. With a little something extra. He didn't know how, at the time, but some careful questioning when he met up with the Doctor last year brought out that Rose must have knocked him up; end of the Time War and never leaving the Doctor alone again. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way at the time. Jack used his vortex manipulator to travel back to 1861. Not to England, fortunately or un, depending on how you look at it. About two month later he realized something odd was going on with his body. Odd, in this instance meaning wrong. About three months after that he died in excruciating pain and woke up with a still tender backside and a bloody baby. A bloody baby with his eyes. Problem. Jack took off, traveling with the kid, putting out that his mother was dead when it was necessary. Jamie went to university, in his early teens- his other parent was obvious by then. Jack wasn't getting older, and he was recruited by Torchwood. Specifically, two blood thirsty women working for Torchwood. He worked as a field agent for years, seeing Jamie fairly regularly. In 1999 he returned to the hub to find them all dead. Alex, the head, left Jack Torchwood, telling him to make it something worthwhile before blowing his brains out. Jack did. In 2008, Jamie regenerated, came to see Jack, then went back to university. Jack met up with the Doctor again, traveled to the end of the universe, was captured by the master and never mentioned Jamie to the Doctor, even when he returned to Torchwood. Some of his past caught up with him, he started actually dating Ianto, refused to let Owen die, crashed Gwen's wedding, and just. Lived. Until he walked into this place not long after Gwen found the island compound for people returned by the rift. |
