| Brief History: Born on Gallifrey, went to the Academy, was friends with both the girl who would become the Doctor, and the boy who would become the Rani. When she looked into the Untempered Schism, she started to hear drums in her head - which have followed her all her life.
For the most part, since she got through the Academy, her life has been occupied with a continual effort to rule the universe - with a side of trying to destroy the Doctor. She's run through regenerations faster than the Doctor in the process, and her plans have often failed - usually because the Doctor shows up, much to her frustration. Her most recent regeneration came from being offered a new regeneration cycle to help fight in the Time War. She took the new regenerations, than bolted as soon as she had an opportunity, disguising herself as human at the end of the universe. When the Doctor showed up at the end of the universe with Mark and Jack, the Master was working to send a rocket full of humans to someplace called Utopia. Mark noticed the watch she carried, and brought her attention to it when he asked about it, she opened it, and regained her memories and her Time Lord status. She snuck into the Doctor's TARDIS while the Doctor and Jack were working to get the rocket ready to launch, and when they came back, she let the Doctor in, then closed the door, and dematerialized, leaving Jack and Mark stuck at the end of the universe. She didn't intend to end up here, it just happened to be where they ended up, instead of in the Vortex. |
