Brief Personality: Well-bred, intelligent, naive, high-strung, wields a mean pistol and parasol. Playful, enjoys a good scary story, is learning to like modern music, doesn't trust most 21st century tech, otherwise very good with technology.
Temperamental and quite emotional, also cannot tolerate the destruction of the trappings of civilization (books, art, music, fine clothing and furniture). Has a schoolgirl crush on the Doctor, but worries about him often. Speaks fluent French and can hold a simple conversation in Scottish Gaelic. |

| Brief History: Daughter of Laird James MacBeth and his first lady wife, Phaedre. Grew up secluded and in boarding schools, due to her shameful talent for Technomancy (magic dealing with machines and science). Older sister Margaret joined a convent, half-brother Albert died, leaving Anne the eldest heir.
Met the Doctor at her coming-out ball where he was (again) trying to prevent the assassination of a relative of hers. Left with him and gave the official duties of Clan governance to her younger sister, Cordelia ("Curdie"). Personally decked the Doctor for not warning her about the regeneration. |
