| Brief History: Eleanor learned to fire various guns on various estates, and went to parties in the big houses on those estates. Then she decided she wanted to make guns that fired better, so she went to Somerville College, Oxford, to read physics.
Four years later, in the summer of 1914, Captain Jack Harkness recruited her to Torchwood, and showed her guns that hadn't been made by human hands. Or Earth machines. She's been there five months; she's playing with alien and future technology, and helping to protect the planet. And the poor old Earth needs all the help she can get, at the moment. |
