| Brief History: Born in 2014 to Vain York and Max St. Claire, Jack is her godfather, and the guardian her parents designated in case they end up dead - which is a real possibility in their line of work.
She's grown up traveling, and has been around the world more than once. She likes Cardiff best because she can visit her Uncle Jack, and Torchwood, and her gran, all pretty much at the same time. And her dad's parents aren't too far away, either - closer than a plane flight across the Atlantic, anyway. Her parents have just let her run ahead of them down to the Hub to say hello, and when the main door rolled open, and she ran through, she didn't end up in the Hub. Or so her account of her arrival goes. Update: Visited her Uncle Jack, was very apologetic about not listening and putting him in danger. Told a very disjointed and rambling story about someplace out of time and space, and worried everyone - enough that the Doctor asked if she'd let him poke around in her head for a bit. Went off with the Doctor for a quick tour around the universe when she was sixteen, over her mother's strenous objections - a quick tour that turned into three years of gallivanting. She came home, and settled into a job with the British Non-Human Residents Ministry for almost a year before getting restless. Jack offered her a job with Torchwood instead, but she declined, asking the Doctor for a quick lift instead, dropping her off on a different planet - though she stayed pretty much in the same time-frame. She stayed with Rose, and took some classes at the local university-equivilent. Took some training courses for their civilian law enforcement, and decided she really didn't want to stay after all, and caught a lift back to Earth. This time she did take up the offer to work at Torchwood as a field operative, where she's stayed since, though she continually finds classes and lectures and training courses, just trying to learn as much as she can. She's been working with Torchwood for three years now, and is one of a team of three - herself, the team leader, and the team medic.
